This is an original Premerger AMG Momo M38 steering wheel, produced during the era when AMG was still an independent tuner modifying Mercedes-Benz cars before merging with Daimler. These wheels were made exclusively for AMG by Momo and are now one of the most sought-after period-correct upgrades for classic Mercedes models.
The wheel is finished in black leather and features the correct engraved premerger “AMG” script on the front face. The center horn pad is removable and is framed by four functional horn buttons, exactly as these wheels left the factory.
On the back, the wheel carries the original Momo manufacturer markings along with the correct KBA 70056 part number, confirming its authenticity.
